For more than a decade, Zabierz PIESia do Międzylesia has brought people and dogs together in Warsaw through a charity event that combines outdoor activity, community participation and support for animals in need.
Since its first edition in 2015, the event has welcomed dog owners, families, runners, volunteers and supporters to walk, run and spend time together with dogs.
Running is part of the day, but competition is not the main focus. The event has always placed more emphasis on participation, community and support for animal welfare initiatives.
This year, PawView is glad to join the 11th edition as one of the event’s supporters.
More Than a Run or Walk
One of the things that stands out about Zabierz PIESia is how naturally it brings different parts of the dog community together.
Some people come to run. Others come to walk, volunteer, support the cause or simply spend time with their dogs.
Alongside the event itself, the organizers have also shared practical information around dog care, including topics such as canine first aid, calming signals and what to do when a pet is lost or found.
Together, these elements make the event feel less like a single-day race and more like a shared community experience built around dogs.
Helping More Dogs Be Seen
The event also creates space to look beyond the dogs already in our own homes.
By supporting animal welfare initiatives, Zabierz PIESia helps bring more attention to dogs that may still be waiting for care or a permanent home.
For PawView, this is one of the parts of the event that feels especially meaningful.
Many of us first learn what it means to care for a dog through the one beside us every day. Events like this offer a simple way for that attention to extend a little further.
A Community That Keeps Growing Through Participation
Zabierz PIESia has continued for more than ten years, shaped by the people who organize it, take part, volunteer and support it.
That long-term participation is what gives the event its strong community character.
Each edition brings together people with different reasons for joining, but with one thing in common: dogs are part of the day, and part of the reason everyone is there.
That sense of connection is something PawView values as well.
PawView Is Honored to Join This Year
This year, PawView will support Zabierz PIESia through product sponsorship and on-site participation.
Selected PawView products, including Smart ID Tags, collar and leash sets, and harnesses, will be provided as gifts and prizes during the event. PawView will also provide on-site display support.
Visitors will also be able to place PawView orders through the event’s self-service ordering channel. PawView will donate 30% of the order value from these purchases to support the initiative.
For us, joining Zabierz PIESia is a chance to contribute to an event that has spent years bringing people, dogs and the local community together.
We look forward to being part of this year’s edition and seeing that community come together once again in Międzylesie.
